The One Where We Lean Like A Cho-lula

Most of you know my female fascination with Gwyneth Paltrow.
She's practically perfect in every way.
Great hair.  Tall.  Thin.
Married to a guy who'll sing her "Yellow" anytime she pleases.
Has a couple of cute kids with eccentric names.
From California, but has houses in New York and England.
And learned all she knows from Mario Batali in Spain.

I could go on.
But I won't bore you.
Because that's what my dear friend Laura is for.
(No, not to bore you.)
She let's me go on, I mean.
And on.
And on.
Because she's rather fascinated with Gwyneth herself.
Maybe even more so.
You see.
She's a Gwyneth.
(I'm more of a Drew who wishes her best friend was Gwyneth.)
So you see, it all works out.
We're thinking about making shirts.

Where am I going with this?

Okay.
So, Laura and I got together to make an Gwyneth-inspired dinner.
Baja Tacos.

We dressed the part.
Blacks and grays and whites and creams, flats, and straightened shoulder length bobs.

We gathered up the ingredients.
Black beans, brown rice, and homemade corn tortillas and pico and guacamole.
Pronounced with the short "g" people.
None of this silent "g" insanity.

We said such Gwyn-isms like "Schmear" and "Donesville" and "I'ngonna."
Leaned against the kitchen counters gabbing.
Decided to watch a Tracy Anderson workout video.
(Yes, we recognized the irony in that.)

And then.
With our plates filled with deliciousness.
On the couch.
Elbows up and side to side.
We leaned that Cholula.

All the homies know what I mean.
